CHAPTER 1

One day, off in a large house, lived Paul, my dad, and Marcella, or just me.One day I asked my dad if I could ride the horse down

the prarie.

"No! the horse stays here, I will be leaving shortly, go to your room!" he said in a grumpy, low, voice.

"Arrg!" I yell, stomping to my room. I walk in to the smell of Irish tea, on a warm stove, sitting in a kettle.

My friend Alexander knocked on the door, I open the window.

"Go up the steps to my room." I say through my window.

"OK." Alex replys, running up the steps. "Marcella! Can I have some tea now that I'm here? Not to be rude."

      "Sure Alex, help yourself."

"Wohoo! Hey Marcey, do you wish to ride down the prarie with me?"

      "I'm not alowed to."

"I'll take you anyway." Alex says.

"Oh, I must not, oh just take me!"

      "OK Marcella." replys Alexander.

The horse galloped across the fields of wheat and grass, Alex reached his arm down and grabed a rose, then he handed the rose to

me.

"Do you want to drive?" he asked politely.

      "Yes, Alex." I say.

The horse galloped down the field, I see my father walking by. "Alex!" I say. "It's father!"

"Then we must turn around Marcella." he says, in a soft voice.

      "Aye." I answer.

The horse turns around, and he starts to drive, father turns his head in shame, seeing me.

"Hey, what ae you doing with my girl?" father shouts.

"Going dancing! Alex says in a sarcastic voice.

"He is taking me to the store to get a meal." I answer, seriusly.

"Aye, very well then, just be home by dawn." dad says.

"Thank you sir, I shall show yo my graditude with this."

Alex throws a small bag of gold, he turs around and says "Lets go to the finest place in Nasville, nay, to far, mabey here, in Louisville."

      "Aye." I say.

"Then let us go to the 'Fantcy Diner' across the street" Alex says.

"Are you trying to date me?" I ask.

"To be honest, no." he said. "Do you want to go on a date?"

      "No thanks Alex."

I look away thinking "mabey he loves me, no,he couldn't, he already said no."

"You may feel odd, but I'm just your friend, nothing more, Aye?" he said.

      "Aye." I answer.

"Tis' a fine place, what do yo want Marcella?"

"I will have a bread slice, and tea."

"Are you sure? I can get you anything you like?" he asked.

      "Aye." I reply.

After we ate, he rode me home and said, "Marcella, your father is still on the hill."

Once we got home, Alex handed me a golden neckless and left, and I went to bed.

He hands me a bouquet of roses.

"Each pedle is a time you made me smile."

"Alex, are you tryin to tell me somthing?" I ask.

                    CHAPTER 3

"It is hard to say with words so I say it with action."

Alex reaches in over and opens his closet, a clean, blue dress shows.

"That is for my fair lady. I made it for you."

      "Oh Alex, how?"

"I read so I could make you this."

      "Why?"

      "Because I, I..."

Just then Alex fell to his feet, he had fainted. When he woke up the next day, he said. "I love you." he was in a bed, I held his hand to make him happy.

      "Are you ok?"

"If your here, yes." he answerd.

                    CHAPTER 4

It has been a while, Alex is still in bed, but now he got the fever and he didn't faint, he fell.

      "Wake up." Alex said.

"What... I was sleeping." I yawned.

"Yes, you went to bed yesterday, turns out , it was because I was driving you around and I got a fever, your father gave me some odd drink and now I'm better. Your dad put you in your bed."

      "Ok Alex."

As I walked out the living room  I saw a cake.

      "Happy birthday Marcella!"

      "Oh my!" I said.

The room was filled with a warmth only your inside can feel. The candles made a soft glow in the room. The door seemed to look like a shadow, the walls glew, the glass door to the kitchen showed 1 shinning cake with 11 candles. 1 of the candles looked like a 10.

"Thanks Alex." I said. "And you know what, you spend all your time here, and you love me, why not..."

      "What?"

      "Why not come and..."

      "Come and?" Alex asked.

      "Maybe... just maybe... move in."

Alex's jaw dropped. He nodded and closed his mouth.

"I'd love to move with you."

The next day Alex had all his stuff in my room, because I said he can share my room. Now I have a rusty old pot on my sy stove beside mine, on that pot said, "Alexander and Marcella are friends forever." He had a pot made of clay holding a bunch of roses sitting next to the window, and he had a small bed on the end of the room than mine. And he had a picture of us when we were 9, I painted it for him.

"Alex, is that all of your stuff?" I asked.

"No, the rest is in my box."

      "Can I look please?"

      "Anything for you." he answered.

I looked in his box and saw the dress, folded neatly, and his worn clothes, made of brown cloth. Also he had a book and an envolope.

"Whats the book Alex? Whats the book about?"

"Alex, is that all of your stuff?" I asked.

"No, the rest is in my box."

      "Can I look please?"

      "Anything for you." he answered.

"Whats the book Alex? Whats the book about?"

"Its a book I wrote last year. Its about you and me playing and talking and exploring." he answerd, happily. Then

"Its a book I wrote last year. Its about you and me playing and talking and exploring." he answerd, happily. Then he sighed and closed the box, but first, he reached in and picked up a dress.

                    CHAPTER 5

"I made this for you, I want you to have it, aye."

"Aye." I replyed. "Remember what the cake tasted like, Alex."

"Well, I did make it, It had strawberrys inside and vanilla frosting, and a cherry in the middle."

"Ah. So Alex, what do you want to do?"

"Go dancing with you, with my fine outfit I made, and you wearing the dress-"

      "Alex, are you day dreaming?"

"Yes, Marcella, I am dreaming of us dancing."

Just then he jumped on his bed and fell asleep. I did the same because it was late.

When we woke up I saw a red dress with normal arms, a zig-zagging string to hold it together on the front, like the blue one. It had a shinning bottom half. Just then I deside to try it on, next to it was a heart neackless, made of gold. The dress had purple arms with green wrists. It had a pink bottom half.

"Marcella, I hope you like the dress I made you. You father is still sleeping, want to dance?"

      "To what music Alex?"

"We don't need music to dance, we just need eachother, what do you say?" he said, softly.

After he said that, I went to my room and put on the dress and the neackless, then I opened my door and walked down the steps, it was just kie my birthday, dark and we danced in the candle light, we sung together for music.
